I am not God gifted when we talk about writing instead it came within me as an inspiration from seeing my mom or say it's my mom's gift to me and not just writing but also my love for music and dance as well. Where love for stories and lullabies is gifted by my dad.

  My mom used to write stories, articles and poems and get published, which started attracting me and I developed an interest towards writing. I started with writing short stories and since I always loved stories and being imaginative, I started enjoying it more. Slowly it filled passion for writing within me and I got all motivated when my first story was published in a newspaper. I was very little at that time, I don't remember the exact age but not more than 7- 8 years, so it was the most exciting moment for me.   

  That's how my journey into writing started and since then I have been writing poems and stories on and off. I still have my mom's diaries with little torn pages all safe with me, few filled with the poetry written by her and few filled with the old Hindi film songs she loved to write and keep with her. It was different and strange for me as why would someone like to fill pages with the lyrics of already made songs just to keep record. I found it fascinating and even I did the same for a while.  I might never be as good as my mom was, but I enjoy and love what I do write.
